6月5日，沙特阿拉伯、埃及、阿联酋、巴林、也门、叙利亚和马尔代夫分别宣布与卡塔尔断绝外交关系。一天之内遭到七个国家集体“拉黑”，卡塔尔再一次引起了全世界的关注。

这让人不禁想问，卡塔尔究竟做了什么天怒人怨的事，一天之内被拉黑了七次，特别是被沙特阿拉伯、阿联酋、巴林三个“邻居”联手踢了出去？

Saudi Arabia has led a group of four Arab states cutting off diplomatic ties with their neighboring Gulf state of Qatar, declaring that Doha’s regional policies fuel extremism and terrorism. Several hours later, the internationally recognized Yemeni government and Libya’s eastern-based government followed suit. The Maldives then announced it too was cutting ties.

The news comes two weeks after Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt blocked several Qatari media outlets -- including Al Jazeera -- over comments allegedly made by Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim Al Hamad Al Thani. Al Thani reportedly hailed Iran as an "Islamic power" and criticized US President Donald Trump's policy towards Tehran.

断交新闻发出两周之前，沙特、阿联酋、巴林和埃及屏蔽了几家援引了卡塔尔埃米尔塔米姆•本•哈马德•阿勒萨尼（Tamim Al Hamad Al Thani）观点的卡塔尔媒体，其中就有半岛电视台。据称，塔米姆在新闻中提到“伊朗是伊斯兰教的重要力量”并批评美国总统特朗普针对德黑兰的政策。

But Qatar said the website was hacked, the report fabricated by the culprits.

Qatar says it is the victim of a dirty tricks operation designed to denigrate its reputation in Washington. In a statement it said: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the state of Qatar expressed its deep regret and surprise at the decisions by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Bahrain to close their borders and airspace, and sever diplomatic relations with the state of Qatar, bearing in mind that these measures are unjustified and based on false claims and assumptions. The state of Qatar has been subjected to a campaign of lies that have reached the point of complete fabrication. It reveals a hidden plan to undermine the state of Qatar.

Saudi Arabia said it took the decision because of  Qatar "embraces multiple terrorist and sectarian groups aimed at disturbing stability in the region, including the Muslim Brotherhood, ISIS and al-Qaida, and promotes the message and schemes of these groups through their media constantly."

沙特方面表示，作出该决定是因为卡塔尔“接纳笼络多个旨在破坏该地区稳定的恐怖分子和教派组织，其中包括穆斯林兄弟会、伊斯兰国和基地组织，并经常通过他们的媒体散播这些组织的信息和计划。”

The Saudi news agency, citing an official source, said Saudi Arabia was severing diplomatic ties for the “protection of national security from the dangers of terrorism and extremism”.

沙特通讯社援引一名官方消息人士的话称，沙特断绝与卡特尔的外交关系，是为了“保护国家安全，使本国免受恐怖主义和极端主义危害”。

Bahrain’s state news agency said in a statement on its web site that Qatar continued to “undermine the security and stability of the Kingdom of Bahrain and to interfere in its domestic affairs”, to support “acts of terror”, and to finance “armed groups associated with Iran to carry out subversive attacks and spread chaos in the Kingdom”.

The UAE accused Qatar of "funding and hosting" the group in its statement announcing the severance of ties. It also cited Qatar's "ongoing policies that rattle the security and sovereignty of the region as well as its manipulation and evasion of its commitments and treaties" as the reason for its actions.

阿联酋在断交声明中指责卡塔尔“资助并组织”武装分子。声明中还提到了卡塔尔“正在实施的破坏该地区安全、动摇地区主权的政策及其操纵条约、逃避义务的行为”，作为断交的理由。

Egypt’s foreign ministry accused Qatar oftaking an “antagonist approach” towards the country and said “all attempts to stop it from supporting terrorist groups failed”. It gave the Qatari ambassador 48 hours to leave Egypt, and ordered its own chargéd’ affaires in Qatar to return to Cairo within 48 hours.

Saudi Arabia said it would close borders, severing land, sea and air contact with the tiny peninsula. The Saudis, the UAE and Bahrain have given Qataris two weeks to leave, and only 48 hours for itsdiplomats to quit.

U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said he does not expect Monday's actions to have an impact on the fight against terrorism in the region or globally. He urged all of the parties to sit down and address their disagreements and said the U.S. thinks it is important for the members of the Gulf Cooperation Council to remain unified.
